Australian actress Margot Robbie and her husband, British actor and producer Tom Ackerley, have welcomed a baby boy, as reported by People magazine. While the couple has yet to make a public announcement or share their son’s name, the news comes shortly after Robbie reportedly went into labor two weeks ago, just before her due date, according to the Mail on Sunday.
Robbie’s pregnancy first became public in July during a holiday in Italy, followed by her appearances on several red carpets. Robbie and Ackerley’s love story began on the set of Suite Française in 2013, and after being friends for years, they tied the knot in 2016 in Byron Bay, Australia. Reflecting on their relationship in a past interview, Robbie once described Ackerley as “the one who changed everything,” making life feel “right” in a way it never had before.
The couple co-founded production company LuckyChap Entertainment in 2014, along with Josey McNamara and Sophie Kerr, focusing on female-driven films and series. Some of their projects include the box office hit Barbie, Saltburn, and the popular Netflix series Maid.
